Introducing Alea, a brand born from the limited options available in the market when it comes to healthy and eco-friendly disposable period products. I aim for Alea to redefine the way we perceive period care and challenge the practices of large companies in the industry.
“I strongly believe that period products should be viewed as an integral part of self-care, much like skincare. Just as we carefully select the ingredients for our skin, we should be equally mindful of what we expose our bodies to during our menstrual cycles. Moreover, the guilt associated with single-use plastics should have no place in our monthly period experiences.”
That's why Alea has crafted a line of products that are not only organic and chemical-free but also completely free of plastic. We have taken a significant step towards sustainability by ensuring that our products and wrappers are biodegradable, and our shipping boxes are recyclable, thereby minimizing their impact on the environment.
Additionally, Alea is committed to give back 2% of our sales in product donations to fight period poverty in Canada.
